Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! FOPBSS is eager to support you and your students!
FOPBSS supports the teachers and staff at PBMS and MBHS with three funding programs:
1. Department Line Items: FOPBSS allocates money to select departments at PBMS and MBHS each year. When an item is needed and approved within the department, the teacher/staff member may submit the FOPBSS reimbursement form below without requiring prior approval. Selected departments and amounts are subject to change. See your school’s finance clerk or your respective FOPBSS VP to find out which departments are given a standing line item and the amount allocated for the current school year.
2. Teacher and Staff Grants: Teachers and staff may request money throughout the year via the FOPBSS grant program. See below for full details.
3. Spring Gala Giving Tree: This program allows teachers and staff to request any classroom wishes or needs, which will be represented with a leaf on our Gala Giving Tree. Gala attendees are invited to fund leaves that are meaningful to them. More information and wishlist requests will be sent by the school principals to all teachers and staff in the spring.
Teacher and Staff Grants
All teachers and staff have the opportunity to request funding each year for materials and resources not paid for by the school district. Previous grants have included science equipment, athletic and gym supplies, academic magazine subscriptions, life skills materials for special education classrooms, math demonstration tools, and more. The amount allocated to this program is subject to change each year. Teachers and staff whose departments are given a line item must apply all costs to their line item before requesting teacher grants.
Note: The school principal must sign off on each request before it is submitted.

Once your grant has been approved and the items have been procured, please submit the completed FOPBSS Reimbursement Form to the FOPBSS treasurer at mbhsfriends@yahoo.com.

Complete the FOPBSS reimbursement form for your line item reimbursement, grant reimbursement, or giving tree reimbursement, and include all receipts within ONE PDF document. Email it to the FOPBSS Treasurer at mbhsfriends@yahoo.com. Your reimbursement may be delayed if these instructions are not followed.
