Runners and walkers will enjoy an out-and-back course along beautiful Mission Bay. Following the run/walk, there will be snacks, a vendor village, and excellent musicians from our local community to entertain you. Information about both secondary schools will be available. Come and enjoy the fun — all while supporting the Pacific Beach schools!
The Mission Bay Cluster school that has the most registered participants will take home the coveted team trophy. Will Barnard have it back for another year? Or will CPJMA, Kate Sessions, PBE, PBMS, or MBHS snatch it back?! Register today to help your school win the trophy.
The MBHS class (2024, 2025, 2026, or 2027) that has the highest participation of students + family will win a $500 donation from FOPBSS!

Bib and T-shirt Pick Up
Pick up your Schoolyard Dash 5K T-shirt and your racing bib at Milestone Running (1892 Garnet Blvd) on either of these dates: Friday, April 19 (3:30 – 6:00 PM) or Saturday, April 20 (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Parking will be limited!
Due to the resurfacing of the main parking lot at De Anza Cove, parking will be limited. We recommend carpooling to the event (or biking or walking, if feasible).
There is additional parking along Mission Bay Drive or in the lots south of De Anza Cove (Map) and near the boat launch (Map). These are a quick 5-minute walk to the starting line. Plan to arrive early so you don’t miss the start of the race!
