Fundraising Goals

Our goal is to supplement funding for existing programs, new programs, educational supplies, equipment, and facility needs at PBMS and MBHS to provide a quality education for all students at these schools.

The FOPBSS board of directors is elected annually and consists of the principals, parents, and teacher representatives from both schools. We began in 2003 and through your generous support this is just a sample of what we have accomplished since our inception for PBMS and MBHS:

• Technology – $65,000
• Discretionary funds for teachers  – $72,000
• Site improvements – $37,000
• Enrichment programs (IB, Marine Lab, Missoula) – $31,000
• Campus improvements related to sports – $45,700
• The Arts – $35,000
• Campus beautification – $22,500
• …and much more!

How We Raise Our Money

FOPBSS is a registered 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax-deductible.

We raise the majority of our money through parent contributions. Each year we have two major fundraisers — a contributions drive in the fall and an auction/gala in the spring. We also have smaller event fundraisers throughout the year, including a chili cook-off, PBMS Scholastic book fair, Green Gardens holiday fundraiser, Schoolyard Dash 5K, family nights, and more.

FOPBSS also has a corporate sponsorship program in which we invite community organizations and businesses to sponsor our organization.
